PANEL SESSION 1

Executive Media Round Table

Rwanda meets the west. A platform for Rwandan media and US/Canada based entities to discuss issues with Media in Rwanda and way forward to address the current constraints.

PANEL SESSION 2

Education and Emerging Capacity Building Program

The Education workshop will be dedicated in supporting and promoting education projects based in the US/Canada to be implemented in Rwanda. The workshop will also be a platform for new education programs within the US/Canada that offers scholarships for Rwandans through sports or academic excellence

Panel Session 3

Leadership and Good Governance

Led by three youth officers the youth workshop will provide career fair for graduate and undergraduate Rwandans in the Diaspora. The Youth program will introduce the first RCA mentor program to aid in leadership and career guidance. It will also be a platform for young Rwandans to discuss issues within the Diaspora and their role in aiding community development.  

Panel Session 4

East Africa Community: Capacity Building, Investment, Management

Building a knowledge-based economy in East Africa through the promotion of investment in real estate, entrepreneurship, and capacity building. The workshop will work on targeting new areas of investment in East Africa by the Diaspora, and foreign investors. All while promoting the current investment successes by friends of Rwanda organizations.  

Panel Session 5

Diaspora and community development 

This workshop will recognize Rwandans and Friends of Rwanda who have excelled in promoting Rwanda. Recognize Rwandans who have been dedicating in promoting culture and community awareness. The workshop will further be a platform in promoting opportunities for Rwandans to invest in Rwanda, and promote Rwandan led initiatives within the Diaspora and Rwanda.
