Mission of Rwanda Convention

Rwanda Convention Association (RCA) is a private initiative that started in 2004 as a nonprofit organization, under Section 501 (c) (3) of Federal law. RCA is an apolitical association that is dedicating in the promotion of four sectors of development in Rwanda; education sector, private sector, Information and Technology, and media development.

To reach its objectives, RCA facilitates and organizes an annual convention once a year that unites all Rwandan communities in North America, business investors, organization dedicated in the development of Rwanda, and US politicians. Through is annual convention RCA facilitates a network that aids in the establishment and promotion of projects that are dedicated in social and/or economic development in Rwanda. Furthermore, through its annual convention the Rwandan diaspora is able to show case their initiative and goals aiding to develop their own community within the diaspora, as well as, within Rwanda.

RCA seeks and works in collaborations with different investors to launch projects that benefit the development of education sector, private sector, and information and technology, and media development in Rwanda.

RCA provides an opportunity and a forum for Northern American investors and African business owners in northern America a platform where they can exchange experiences and expertise and create business opportunities for Rwanda economically and socially. RCA further supports and promote businesses and entrepreneurship within the Rwandan diaspora community.

Rwanda Convention Association (RCA) is also dedicated to the development of Rwanda post genocide, through the awareness on Rwandan culture and history through out the world, and most importantly within its own US community.
